You’ve worked so hard to move forward—to leave the past behind, manage your emotions, and feel at home in your own skin. But no matter what you do, it still feels like something is missing. What’s worse is that you’re not sure what you want (or how to go about it) and your healing is starting to feel like a pattern that’s repeating. You think that surely this isn’t as good as it’s going to get.
You’ve been trying so hard to hold it all together, but the weight of it feels heavier every day. The worry, the sadness, the constant loop of overthinking—it’s exhausting, and no matter what you do, it seems like nothing really helps. Deep down, you know there’s more to life than this, but finding your way forward feels overwhelming and out of reach. There’s a way to break free from the cycle, find relief, and rediscover the peace and clarity you deserve.
When it comes to your relationship with food and your body, you spend most of your days feeling like you should have figured it out by now. And yet every meal feels like a challenge, and you’re still just as critical of yourself as you were years ago, despite all of your hard work to change. You understand that recovering from an eating disorder is a delicate process, but to be totally honest, you're tired of the daily struggle. Our specialists can help you heal your relationship with food, your body, and most importantly, yourself.
You’ve faced experiences that have left their mark, and despite your best efforts, the weight of those memories still lingers. You find yourself replaying scenes from the past, feeling trapped in cycles of anxiety or fear that keep you from showing up in the present. Each day feels like a battle, and traditional talk therapy and the usual coping skills just don’t cut it anymore. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured therapy designed to help you heal from painful experiences, empowering you to move beyond them—toward a life filled with hope and possibility.
You’ve navigated the depths of despair and exhaustion, trying everything to ease your pain, but nothing seems to ever truly get to the root of what's really going on. No matter how much you’ve tried, the same patterns keep repeating, leaving you feeling stuck and wondering if real change is even possible. You're at a crossroads, ready for a breakthrough that transcends the limits of conventional therapy. Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) offers an opportunity to explore your life in a new way—one that goes beyond the surface to uncover meaningful insights and lasting shifts. This innovative approach opens the door to healing possibilities, guiding you toward a brighter, more hopeful future.
You’ve tried everything—endless conversations, countless efforts to keep the peace, but the tension at home just won’t ease up. It feels like you’re constantly putting out fires, with every small disagreement turning into a major conflict. The stress is wearing you down, leaving you frustrated and uncertain about how to move forward. You worry about the impact this is having on your family, and all you want is to find a way to reconnect and restore the harmony that seems so far out of reach. We can help your family heal old wounds, rebuild trust, and deepen connections.

Is it possible for me to fully recover from my eating disorder or heal my complex trauma? I feel like the work never ends.
Yes! It’s possible to lead a more free and fulfilling life that honors your past and creates space for a brighter future. If your healing journey has ever felt disorganized or like it’s one step forward and two steps back, our innovative and specialized treatment options could likely be beneficial for you. Oftentimes therapy only scratches the surface, offering skills to help you survive, not thrive. We're committed to diving deep to help you heal your pain at the source. That's where true healing happens.
I’m not sure about ketamine or psychedelics in general. Can I still work with you?
Absolutely! While Houston Healing Collective offers ketamine-assisted therapy, we recognize that it's not for everyone! We are trained to treat eating disorders, trauma and anxiety, and family conflict through diverse therapy modalities, including EMDR & DBT, allowing us to find a treatment plan that works for you and your family.
Can you guarantee that I’ll see results? I feel like I’ve tried everything already.
We understand your frustration with your journey so far and are here to honor your experience. That said, there isn’t a guarantee of what will or won't work for you. Our biggest intention with building your care plan is to make sure you have flexibility and fluidity as we determine which method(s) are the most aligned for you or your loved one.
I’ve never been part of a community or group while receiving care before. What can I expect?
While it might seem counterintuitive to involve strangers in your healing journey—especially if you’ve worked one-on-one with care providers in the past—our clients often see faster, more effective results when incorporating our groups and retreats. This is because much of the depression, anxiety, and shame you’ve experienced in the past has taken place in solitude. But at Houston Healing Collective, we believe that true healing happens in relationships and in community.
Do you take insurance?
Houston Healing Collective is not in-network with any insurance panels. However, we will be able to provide you with an itemized receipt (called a superbill) that you can submit to insurance for potential reimbursement. Through our resources and partnerships with various organizations, we are able to offer financial aid, payment plans, and reduced rate services.
What's your cancellation policy?
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy for individual, family, & couples therapy and a 48 hour cancellation policy for groups & ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Any sessions cancelled within 24 and 48 hours, respectively, will be charged a full session rate.
